Important Notice
This application has no governmental relationship and is not affiliated with any government entity. This is an independent service developed by private individuals.
Service Description
The app periodically monitors headlines from major news outlets to determine whether the question has happend. If three or more highly credible sources confirm the occurrence, a notification will be sent to all users who have purchased the service.
Service Purchase
Notifications are available through an in-app purchase. By completing the purchase, you agree to the charge and the service terms as described in this agreement.
Technical Requirements
To ensure proper app functionality, your device must be correctly configured to receive notifications and connected to the internet. The service relies on online updates, and notifications are not guaranteed without an active connection.
Possibility of False Positives
Since the app relies on news reports, false positives may occur. As this service consolidates multiple sources, you may see the news first through other media (such as TV or radio), but we will do our best to send notifications as close to the event as possible.
Disclaimer of Liability
The app is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties. We are not responsible for interruptions, connection failures, or any other technical issues that may prevent the service from functioning. In short: if it doesn't work as expected, it is the user's responsibility to keep their device properly configured, connected to the internet, and the app updated.
For notifications to arrive, it is necessary that the user keeps the device updated and connected to the internet. If you don't receive the notification, check if the app is updated and if notifications are enabled. There are scenarios, for Android phones, where the app can be put in battery saving mode, which can prevent the delivery of notifications. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the app is properly configured to receive notifications.
It's worth remembering that even though the app is developed to ensure notification delivery, we cannot guarantee that they will be received in all cases due to technical or connectivity limitations, especially with the variety of devices and operating systems available. In internal testing we have seen that notification delivery reaches 95% of users, but we cannot guarantee 100% delivery.
In case of technical failures, no refunds will be issued.
